Community Cupboard is pleased to be selected as a
2008 beneficiary!

The Menifee Valley
Community Cupboard services the Menifee Valley area
of Southern California.
|

Steve Glynn, Community Relations Manager for
Waste Management of the Inland Empire, and
Jose Galvan unload a food donation to help
the Menifee Valley Community Cupboard stock
its shelves. As the number of families
seeking assistance increases and food
donations decrease, this philanthropic
effort on the part of Waste Management will
go a long way to help the Community Cupboard
feed those in need. The Community Cupboard,
in partnership with Waste Management, held
an electronic waste recycling event in early
March, where approximately $357 was raised.
An additional contribution from Waste
Management of over $400 paid for the load of
food which was delivered to the Community
Cupboard’s distribution site in Sun City on
April 1st.
